Originally released in 1983, the song was featured in the cult classic movie, BREAKIN', an American breakdancing-themed musical film and released in 1984. The song was written by Curtis Hudson and Lisa Stevens, the duo behind Madonna's hit song, "Holiday," and they co-produced the track with John "Jellybean" Benitez.
